About me

My name is Arsen Melkumyan and I am proud to welcome you to my website, where the history of jewelry art intertwines with my life's journey.
I was born in 1985 in Yerevan, Armenia, a city brimming with warmth, creativity and culture. Even as a child, I had a passion for drawing and my grandmother, who recognised my talent, always supported me by buying me pencils and large sheets of paper. Those moments became the first steps in my path towards creativity.
My childhood was marked not only by art, but also by sport and by a passion for radio electronics. The hours that I spent soldering and assembling circuits in after-school clubs fostered in me my exceptional diligence and a desire to see things through to the end.
My mother always noted, that when I was immersed in a task, I could forget about everything around me. And it was her advice, that at the age of 16, brought me to a school of applied arts in Yerevan, where I found my calling under the guidance of a wonderful teacher. A teacher, who not only passed on to me his knowledge and skills, but also his love for jewelry.
However, my passion for engineering has also found its place in my life. I decided to make my childhood dream come true and enrolled abroad in an Academy, graduating with an engineering degree. This knowledge helps me to this day, by allowing me to incorporate technical precision and innovative approaches into my work as a jeweller.
Although I spent some time working as an engineer, my heart has always belonged to jewelry. Backed by inspiration and support of my family, I set up a workbench at home and created new pieces of jewelry. Together, we participated in jewelry exhibitions. My wife won a prize in a competition and our son managed to sell his first piece of precious metal jewelry at the age of six. This reaffirms that the art of jewelry making is our family heritage and a true passion.
At the age of 38, fate brought me to Vienna and despite a difficult start, I can proudly say that I now have my own studio in this wonderful city.
Here, I continue my creative journey, by forging unique pieces of jewelry that carry within them history, craftsmanship and soul.
I invite you to enter my world of jewelry art, where together, we can create a piece of jewelry that will become a legacy for future generations.
Best regards,
